Summary: The participants will discuss current issues in immigration law and policy, including the role of the states and federal government in immigration enforcement, as well as the effects of litigation; immigration policy and the 2012 presidential campaigns; the implementation of the administration’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and other topics in legal service provision; and protection for refugees, asylees and immigrant children.
